My emails are gone!

Emails in Gmail, by default, are not automatically deleted when you press "delete."

If you accidentally delete an email from your inbox, it may still be available in your trash bin. In the mailbox selection on the left hand side of the screen scroll down to "trash"

Any emails that are deleted are sent here and stored for 30 days. After the 30 days they will be automatically deleted.

Warning: Any emails that are deleted from the "trash" folder will be gone forever. Be careful!

The email may also have been accidentally moved to your archives. To locate an email from archives go to your mailbox selection on the left hand side of the screen and select "more" and then "all mail." If your email was archived it can be found here.

There is also a search mail box at the top of the screen that works much like a normal google search, If you know what any of the contents of the email you are looking for, you can try searching for it that way.

If your email still cannot be located or you have other questions please submit a tech request.
